Traveling through Portugal, Corc Yoga founder, Christine Moghadam, discovered the beauty of one of the nation’s most bountiful resources, the cork tree. Feeling inspired, Christine left Portugal to design & develop a one-of-a-kind product equally beneficial for people & the planet. The result? The world’s most sustainable yoga mat.
At Corc Yoga, sustainability and wellness are at the heart of everything we do. What began with the world’s most sustainable cork yoga mat has grown into a broader mission: to design products that nurture people, protect the planet, and uplift communities.

Where it All Began
At the Heart of Portugal
Corc Yoga was born from a simple but revolutionary idea to design a yoga mat that honors people and the planet. Handmade in Portugal, our first mat was created without rubber, foam, or chemicals, a statement of health, sustainability, and purpose.
This innovation marked the beginning of a larger journey one that connects wellness, design, and community through the world’s most regenerative natural material.
Working with cork has led us beyond product creation and into a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship. In Portugal, we partner with small, family-owned workshops where tradition, patience, and intention guide every detail. These relationships shape an approach rooted in quality and care, producing pieces that integrate seamlessly into hospitality, wellness, and thoughtfully curated spaces.
Today, Corc Yoga partners with hotels, retreats, and design professionals around the world sharing a vision of healthy luxury rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability.
