Naz, raises awareness for invisible illnesses through a variety of ways from vlogging, writing poems, expressing original songs, creating art, public speaking, and performing her music. Her dedication and passion for this stems from her mental health conditions and her sight condition- Rod Cone Dystrophy. She discovered her love for yoga, meditation, and mindfulness early on in 2019 when she was 21 and turned to a plant-based diet in aid to help her with her physical and mental health. She continues to share her recovery journey in the hope to inspire people who are struggling.“Through practicing yoga, meditation, self-awareness, self-reflection, and self-love, I’ve learned how to be kinder to myself and be thankful for my body and mind for carrying me through the war I put myself through. I am no longer fighting against myself, I am fighting for myself. I am no longer a victim of my mind, my body or my eyes.” Naz is in the early stages of her healing journey and she’s excited to embark further and be a part of the corc yoga family!
